Wireless Display (WiDi) was technology developed by Intel that enabled users to stream music, movies, photos, videos and apps without wires from a compatible computer to a compatible HDTV or through the use of an adapter with other HDTVs or monitors. Connecting to a wireless display with Windows 8.1*:
Windows 10 Widi App
Intel Widi Apple
- Connect using the Intel® WiDi application
- Open the Intel WiDi application.
- Select Connect.
- This selection opens the Charms Bar and shows a list of known wireless display receivers
- Select your wireless display. If you do not see your display, select Add a wireless display.
- If you are connecting to a display for the first time, you may be prompted to enter a WPS PIN. The PIN is shown on the wireless display.
- Click Duplicate or Extend in the Intel WiDi application.
You should now be connected to the wireless display.
